Who We Are
Kaukapakapa Hotel has a long history of serving the local community. Many of the original settlers’ families have generations of farming and forestry. The Hotel had been closed for many years and a group of locals got together in late 2024 to bring the old girl back to life which opened it’s doors in June 2025 . Luckily another local couple and partners have passionately connected the community again with the birth of Shed 16 (Their Website). This has been better than ever for our district and beyond. There are also eight 1960’s style basic motel units which have been refurbished and rented for short or long term stays. We are all proud of what we have achieved and hope you get to enjoy our vision.
